The regular 10th anniversary of International Uzbek Cotton and Textile Fair began its work in Tashkent. This year, more than 1,000 representatives of cotton and textile industry companies and enterprises from more than 50 countries around the world confirmed their participation at the exhibition. Daewoo Textile Fergana LLC is among them.
CAITME, a largest textile equipment and machine building exhibition in the CIS and the only one in Central Asia, will take place from 10 to 12 September at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex alongside TextileExpo Uzbekistan, the international textile industry exhibition.
Uzbekistan will launch 22 new enterprises in light industry with the cost of US$73 million by the end of August 2014, Uzbekyengilsanoat state joint stock company said.
From 17 to 19 August 2014, the President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Mr. Kim Young-mok will visit the Republic of Uzbekistan to discuss the key directions of Korea’s grant-aid assistance to Uzbekistan, visit the project sites, as well as consideration of current and potential projects for implementation, the KOICA Office in Uzbekistan said in a statement.
Deputy head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea Eun Yong was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 25 July 2014.
