On 19-25 November 2018, a delegation of Uztekstilprom Association and representatives of textile and garment-knitwear enterprises visited the Republic of Poland.
On November 21, 2018, the Uztextileprom Association organized a seminar with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Fund for Agricultural Support under the Ministry of Finance, the Seed Development Center under the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC "Uzagrokimyohimoya" and "Uzagrotekhsanoatholding" textile factories and higher educational institutions.
According to the report by “Xalk suzi-Online”, construction of Hyundai-Namangan KD automobile plant has begun in Turakurgan district of Namangan region.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 07.02.2017. №PP-2759 “On measures for the organization of the training and practical textile technopark at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry with the assistance of the Government of the Republic of Korea.” The preparation and opening of the Textile Technopark is underway.
The business center aims at promoting the expansion of exports of products from Uzbekistan to South Korea, increasing the volume of South Korean direct investment and promoting the tourism potential of our Republic.
