February 19-22 this year Domestic manufacturers of the textile and garment and knitwear industry of the Association "Uztextileprom" take part in the 52nd federal wholesale fair of goods and equipment of the textile and light industry "Textillegprom" in Moscow (Russia).
On 4 February 2019, a government delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Prime Minister Tanzilya Narbayeva attended the annual meeting of the international coalition Cotton Campaign, which was the initiator of the so-called boycott ”against Uzbek textile products.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further deepen reforms and expand the export potential of the textile and garment and knitwear industry”.
On 11 February 11 2019, the Uztekstilprom Association held a meeting with a delegation of business circles of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic (CPEP) J.Sagynbayev.
A delegation of Azerbaijan led by Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev stayed in the Republic of Uzbekistan from 4 to 5 February to discuss joint projects.
